This original watercolor draws you closer, zooming in on a cluster of sunlit umbrellas in rich red and orange tones, where light, shadow, and movement quietly unfold. The tighter composition invites a more intimate perspective, capturing the rhythm of a summer day not from afar, but from within it. This piece is based on Il de Ré. 
 
Part of the En Vacances collection, this piece explores contrast & the energy of color against soft neutral sand, the presence of people within a fleeting, shared moment. It’s both vibrant and still, like the feeling of sun on your skin and time slowing just enough to notice it.
